
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). I graduated from Lindsey Wilson College with my Masters degree in Counseling. I am very passionate about counseling and mental health. I enjoy working with all age groups. I see individuals at home, school, office and telehealth. I am trained in EMDR, Christian Counseling, DBT, and hold several certifications.

Marissa Walker, LPCC
Marissa Walker is a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 20 years of experience serving children and families across a variety of clinical, educational, and community-based settings. Her professional background includes work in child protective services, school-based support, social work, domestic violence victims support, and residential psychiatric treatment facilities for children and adolescents. Throughout her career, Marissa has remained committed to providing trauma-informed, compassionate, and client-centered care to individuals and families navigating complex challenges.
Marissa earned her Master’s degree in Counseling from Lindsey Wilson College in 2022 and became a Certified Licensed Professional Counselor in January 2026. She is also certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and JSO, further strengthening her ability to support clients impacted by trauma and adverse life experiences.
With extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and families, Marissa brings a strong background in crisis intervention, behavioral health support, advocacy, and therapeutic services. She is passionate about helping clients build resilience, improve emotional well-being, and achieve lasting personal growth through supportive and evidence-based care.
